What is your shipping policy?

We ship primarily through the U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. We do our best to ship your packages as quickly as possible but we cannot account for the speed of the USPS.  All packages can be tracked online.  We encourage you to use the online tracking service before contacting us.  Please note that shipments to Alaska and Hawaii might take a little longer.

Why does my coffee sometimes arrive separate from my merchandise? 

It's most important that you get the freshest beans possible. This means we will ship out your beans ASAP and not delay your order if a t-shirt or mug happens to not be in stock at that moment.  We would rather ship you two packages and cover the extra shipping cost on our end instead of compromising the freshness of your beans by waiting to ship all in one package.

Why do you only offer whole beans? 

As soon as you grind a bean it starts to lose it's integrity, body, flavor, and everything else you love about a fresh bean.  In order for you to experience the best tasting coffee we humbly suggest that you grind your beans just before brewing.  We want you to enjoy all that our beans have to offer. 

What's with your name: Loaf Coffee? 

Please see the About Us section.  It's all explained there and we hope you find it as fun as we do.  And NO, we do not promote the use of illicit drugs or substances and are in no way affiliated with anything having to do with the sale or consumption of illicit substances.

What is your refund policy?

We will work with you on a case-by-case basis.  If you received a damaged package or your coffee bags are in some way compromised we will send you replacements of equal value or close to it.  Please understand that some beans are only available seasonally or for a limited time due to small batch, artisan roasting.  If you are due a replacement coffee bag and your varietal (flavor) is not available we will replace it with the next best thing.  We will do our best to contact you directly to ask which substitute coffee you would prefer.  Bottom line is this: We're nice people, not a giant corporate robot.  We will work with you to make everyone happy.

I'd like to try a variety of your coffees but I'm not sure which ones I like.  

We offer 4oz sample-sized bags.  These give you a chance to try a variety of our coffees.  Simply go to our Online Coffee Shop, choose your varietal (flavor), select 4oz. bag from the drop down menu and add it to your order.  OR...you can order our sample set which includes five flavors.
